Why Is My Game Offer Not Tracking? 10 Fixes
Game offer not tracking? Check installation history, permissions, battery and data limits, eligibility, deadlines, and the evidence to send support before assuming a reward is lost.

First: tracking is not always instant
A missing reward does not always mean the game offer failed. A tracked game offer normally passes through three separate stages: your click is attributed, the advertiser verifies the milestone, and Lootably sends the confirmed event to EarnMoneyRewards. Some events appear quickly; others need more time.
Start by checking Dashboard. If the reward is already pending, tracking worked and the credit is going through its normal hold. Read Pending balance explained before opening a support request.
If the completed task does not appear at all, work through these checks in order.
10 fixes for a game offer that is not tracking
1. Confirm that you started from the tracked button
You must open the offer while signed in to EarnMoneyRewards, use its tracked button, and then install from the store page it opens. Searching for the same game directly in the App Store or Google Play can break the connection between your account and the install.
If you installed first and clicked the offer later, do not assume that reinstalling will repair attribution. Most campaigns require a genuinely new, tracked install.
2. Check whether you installed the game before
Many game campaigns accept new users only. A previous install on the same device or store account can make you ineligible even if you deleted the game months ago.
Do not clear device identifiers or create another account to bypass this rule. That can invalidate the reward and trigger anti-fraud controls. Choose another game from Games instead.
3. Verify the country, device, and operating system
Offers are targeted by country and platform. An Android campaign cannot track an iPhone install, and an offer shown for one country may not be valid after a location change. Use the same real device and normal network from the tracked click through completion.
4. Avoid VPNs, proxies, emulators, and cloned apps
VPNs and location-changing services can make the click and completion appear to come from different places. Emulators, cloned apps, and modified devices are also commonly rejected by advertisers.
Do not switch these tools on or off repeatedly while completing an offer. Use one normal device, one account, and a stable connection.
5. Allow legitimate tracking permissions (iPhone ATT and Private Relay)
If iOS, Android, the store, or the game asks for a legitimate advertising or tracking permission needed for attribution, refusing it can prevent the advertiser from matching the install to the click. Do these checks on the same phone you will play on, before you tap the tracked button.
iPhone
- Open Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking and turn on Allow Apps to Request to Track.
- When the game later asks to track your activity, tap Allow. If the master switch is off, iOS treats every request as Ask App Not to Track. The game can still run, but it cannot use the advertising identifier that many campaigns need.
- Open Settings → [your name] → iCloud → Private Relay and turn Private Relay off while you complete game offers. Private Relay hides your IP address. Click-to-install matching often uses that IP, so a relayed session can look like a VPN.
- Do not reset the advertising identifier after you start.
You can turn Private Relay back on after the offer finishes. You do not need to weaken every other security setting on the phone.
Child accounts, some managed Apple IDs, and Apple IDs created in the last three days often cannot enable tracking. Changing other settings will not make those devices eligible.
Android
Turn on Ads / ad personalization in Google settings if the device asks. Do not reset the advertising ID after the tracked click.
On both platforms, only accept permissions presented by the operating system or the genuine game. A reward site should never ask for your wallet seed phrase, private key, or device password.
If you already installed the game with tracking denied or Private Relay on, do not uninstall to “fix” it. Keep the app, save evidence, and continue this checklist. Location-changing tools are covered in the VPN guide.
6. Complete the exact milestone wording
Small wording differences matter. Reach level 20 may mean your account must display level 20, while complete level 20 may require finishing it and entering level 21. A headquarters level, player level, chapter, and stage are not interchangeable.
Open the game card again and compare the task text with your in-game screen. If the goal involves a purchase, confirm the required item and amount before spending. A headline Up to reward is the sum of eligible milestones, not a guaranteed single payment.
7. Check each task deadline
EarnMoneyRewards shows the time limit supplied by Lootably beside each task. Multi-step games can give different milestones different deadlines. The timer generally begins from the tracked start specified by the offer—not from the day you decide to finish playing.
If a task says Separate deadline not provided, follow any timing rule in the offer description and avoid assuming that it has no expiry. Review every task and deadline before installation, especially on $100+ game offers.
8. Keep the same device and game account
Changing phones, store accounts, game profiles, or installation methods during an active offer can break the attribution chain. Reinstalling can also create a new session that is no longer tied to the original click.
Finish on the device and account you used to start. Do not run the same offer on multiple devices.
9. Allow time for partner validation
Finishing a task and receiving its server confirmation are separate events. Keep the game installed, return to its main screen, and allow it to sync on a stable connection. Then refresh your EarnMoneyRewards dashboard.
Follow any validation window stated on the offer. If the offer does not state a longer delay and the milestone is still missing after 24 hours, collect evidence instead of repeatedly reinstalling or completing the same purchase.
10. Send support complete evidence
A useful tracking report should include:
- Your EarnMoneyRewards account email
- The exact game and task name
- The date, time, and time zone of completion
- Your device model and operating system
- A clear screenshot showing the completed milestone
- The date you first opened the tracked offer
Send those details through Contact support. Do not include passwords, login codes, private keys, or seed phrases. A screenshot helps an investigation, but it does not override campaign eligibility or guarantee credit without partner confirmation.
Battery, Data Saver, and background limits
Permissions and VPN settings are not the only system switches that can delay a partner event. Android battery limits, Data Saver, and iPhone Low Power / Low Data modes can restrict background work and network sync. The game can still look finished on screen while a deferred attribution upload waits.
This does not replace the ten fixes above. Use it when you already used the tracked button, stayed on one device, allowed tracking permissions, and the milestone is still missing after a normal sync attempt.
Why this matters for game offers
EarnMoneyRewards credits arrive only after the advertiser records an eligible event and Lootably sends a confirmed postback. Many mobile measurement SDKs send that event while the game is open, or shortly after, using background jobs and network access.
If the phone blocks those jobs, the event can sit until you reopen the game on a normal connection—or never leave the device at all. A screenshot of your level does not create the partner event.
Android: battery usage for the game
On stock Android and many Pixel-like menus:
- Open Settings → Apps (or Apps → See all apps).
- Select the game you started from the tracked offer.
- Tap Battery (sometimes App battery usage).
- Prefer Unrestricted while the offer is active. Avoid Restricted.
Android’s own documentation describes Restricted as fully preventing an app from running in the background, with apps possibly not working as expected. Optimized is the usual default. Unrestricted allows background work and may use more battery.
You do not need Unrestricted forever. Set it for the active offer window, then return to Optimized after the tasks you care about have had time to sync.
Also avoid Force stop on the game after a milestone. Force stop ends the process and can interrupt a pending sync.
Samsung and other OEM “sleeping” lists
Some manufacturers add extra battery managers on top of the per-app setting:
- Samsung: Settings → Battery and device care → Battery → Background usage limits. Remove the game from Sleeping apps and Deep sleeping apps while the offer is active.
- Other brands may label similar controls as battery saver, autostart, or background activity. Keep the active offer game off aggressive sleep lists until validation finishes.
Menu names vary by OS version. The goal is the same: do not let the phone silently freeze the game’s background network work during the offer.
Android Data Saver and restricted background data
Data Saver and per-app “restricted background data” settings can limit network use when the game is not in the foreground.
For an active offer:
- Turn Data Saver off, or allow unrestricted data for the game.
- Prefer a stable Wi‑Fi connection when you finish a milestone and return to the main game screen.
- Do not toggle airplane mode repeatedly to “force” tracking.
iPhone: Low Power Mode, Low Data Mode, Background App Refresh
Apple documents that Low Power Mode can pause discretionary and background activities, including networking. Low Data Mode (cellular and/or Wi‑Fi) generally stops background network use when you are not actively in an app and turns off Background App Refresh.
Before or during an offer on iPhone:
- Settings → Battery → turn Low Power Mode off while you complete and sync milestones.
- Settings → Cellular → Cellular Data Options (and Wi‑Fi network details, if used) → turn Low Data Mode off for the networks you play on.
- Settings → General → Background App Refresh → leave it on (or at least allow it for the game if shown per-app).
You can restore power-saving modes after the offer window. Do not reset the advertising identifier or create a second account to compensate for a delayed sync.
After you hit a milestone
- Stay on the game’s main screen for a short, uninterrupted period on a normal connection.
- Confirm battery / data limits above are not Restricted or Low Data / Low Power.
- Refresh Dashboard. If the reward is already pending, tracking worked—wait the normal ~48-hour hold.
- If nothing appears after the card’s stated validation window (or about 24 hours if none is listed), continue the evidence steps in fix 10 and send one Contact report. Mention that battery optimization, Data Saver, Low Power Mode, or Low Data Mode was on at completion if that was true.
Do not uninstall, reinstall, or reset advertising IDs to “push” a background event.
Quick checklist
| Setting | Safer choice during an active offer |
|---|---|
| Android app battery | Unrestricted (or not Restricted); not Force stopped |
| Samsung sleeping / deep sleeping | Game removed from those lists |
| Android Data Saver | Off, or game allowed unrestricted data |
| iPhone Low Power Mode | Off while finishing and syncing |
| iPhone Low Data Mode | Off on the Wi‑Fi / cellular path you use |
| Background App Refresh | On (system or game) |
Battery and data savers are useful in daily life. During a tracked game offer, a normal connection and non-restricted background policy give attribution the best chance to finish.
What not to do while waiting
- Do not uninstall and reinstall the game
- Do not reset advertising identifiers
- Do not switch to another device or game account
- Do not use a VPN to make the offer reappear
- Do not Force stop the game, set its battery usage to Restricted, or leave aggressive Data Saver / Low Power / Low Data modes on right after a milestone
- Do not repeat a purchase unless the task explicitly requires another one
- Do not create a second EarnMoneyRewards account
These actions can remove useful evidence or make an otherwise valid completion look inconsistent.
How EarnMoneyRewards receives a game reward
EarnMoneyRewards cannot directly see your progress inside a third-party game. The advertiser measures the eligible event, Lootably validates it, and a server-to-server confirmation updates your account. A confirmed credit usually enters pending before becoming available for withdrawal.
| What you see | What it usually means | Best next step |
|---|---|---|
| Game not installed yet | Attribution has not started until you use the tracked button | Reopen from Games, then use the tracked button |
| Task missing after completion | Eligibility, attribution, wording, or validation delay needs checking | Follow the 10 checks and save evidence |
| Reward is pending | The partner confirmation arrived | Wait for the normal hold |
| Reward is available | The hold cleared | Review the withdrawal guide |
Who to contact — EarnMoneyRewards vs Lootably
EarnMoneyRewards uses one partner wall: Lootably. Lootably validates advertiser events and sends confirmed credits to your EarnMoneyRewards account. EarnMoneyRewards does not see inside the game and cannot invent a missing partner postback.
Use this routing checklist. Match what you see on Dashboard, then pick one path.
| What you see | Who helps | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| Task never appears after you finished it | EarnMoneyRewards Contact (after this checklist) | Finish the 10 fixes above. Wait any stated validation window (or about 24 hours if none is listed). Then open Contact once with the evidence from fix 10 |
| Reward already shows as pending | Nobody — wait | Tracking worked. The ~48-hour hold is normal. Do not open a missing-reward ticket. Read Pending balance explained |
| Available is under $2.50, or Withdraw looks greyed / closed | EarnMoneyRewards only | Check Withdraw and the FAQ timing (account age ≥24 hours; only available balance counts; one cashout in review at a time). Contact only if something still looks wrong after those checks |
| Cashout request already submitted | EarnMoneyRewards only | Wait the normal review window (often 24–72 hours after processing starts). Do not email the wall about a payout in review |
Missing event (task never on Dashboard). Work the tracking checklist first. Keep the game installed. Do not reinstall, reset advertising IDs, or open a second account. When you write support, use Contact while logged in (or email support@earnmoneyrewards.com) and include the fix-10 evidence pack. One complete report is better than several short ones.
Already pending. A pending game credit means Lootably already confirmed the event. Waiting is the correct next step. Filing a “missing reward” ticket for a credit that is already pending usually slows everyone down.
Cashout or greyed minimum. Wallet network mistakes, minimum balance, account age, and payout review are EarnMoneyRewards account issues. Use Withdraw and Contact only. Do not ask the partner wall to unlock a cashout button.
What EarnMoneyRewards support can and cannot do. Support can review your account event history and the evidence you send. It cannot log into the third-party game, force an advertiser to pay an ineligible install, or reverse a blockchain transfer sent to the wrong address or network.
Do not send passwords, one-time codes, seed phrases, or private keys to anyone.
Frequently asked questions
Does reinstalling a game fix tracking?
Usually not. It can remove the original install session and make attribution harder to verify. Keep the app installed and contact support with evidence.
Does a screenshot guarantee that I will be credited?
No. A screenshot proves visible progress, but the advertiser still checks the tracked install, eligibility, deadline, and campaign rules.
Why did one milestone track but the next one did not?
Each milestone can be a separate advertiser event with its own wording, deadline, and validation delay. Confirm the exact task and wait for any stated processing period before reporting it.
Can EarnMoneyRewards manually see my game level?
No. Progress is reported by the advertiser and Lootably. Support can review the account event history and your evidence, but it cannot log into the game or manufacture a missing partner confirmation.
Bottom line
The safest routine is simple: start while logged in, install only through the tracked link, use one eligible device, read every milestone and deadline, and keep proof of important completions. If a valid task remains missing, send one complete support report instead of changing the device or reinstalling.
